In rural Uganda, many children cannot afford to go to school due to lack of school fees. Some of these children are orphans while others come from families where parents cannot afford the cost. We reach out to them and support a few with help from well-wishers who follow our work on social media and appreciate the contribution we are making in society. So far, we have 25 girls on our sponsorship program and some of them were almost being married off at a tender age by their own parents due to high costs of living. We managed to get for them sponsors who offered to pay them tuition until she completes her secondary education. The Number of Girls that need to be supported to continue with their education after the lockdown is so big. Many girls have already dropped out of school and may never get the opportunity to realize their dreams in life.
