We have seen many young girls exchange their bodies for sanitary pads and as a result, some have become victims of Teenage Pregnancy and child marriage. Training young girls has built their skills and confidence as they manage their periods with dignity and respect. This will empower them and enable them to make informed decision about their bodies. The beneficiaries will also earn income through producing and selling reusable sanitary pads to fellow girls and women in the Nakivale Refugee settlement. The numbers that need this program are many, we are calling upon well wishers to support this initiative.
