Champions made our work easier because they would reach people in their communities and speak to them about the dangers associated with teenage pregnancy and child marriage. They were trained about the importance of protecting girls from sexual abuse and to work as our ambassadors in their villages. These include Para social workers and Religious Leaders which made it easy for our message to reach thousands of parents. The Religious Leaders incorporated our message in their programs and spoke to parents about the need to keep children safe and to be good examples to their children.
