WATER AND SANITATION
In March 2019, a group of Ladies in Boston called the NAHANT WOMEN’S CLUB donated a water tank and sanitary pads for girls with the purpose of supporting our campaign to Keep girls in school and end child marriage.
2020
COMMUNITY CLUBS
Since all schools were closed down, we established clubs in different parishes where we would meet young girls and share with them information regarding the dangers associated with teenage pregnancy
Menstrual Hygiene Management
In the move to put an end to menstrual stigma among girls in rural schools, we have supported more girls with sanitary pads and knickers so that they don’t miss schools or fall victim of Teenage pregnancy
School Clubs
We have school clubs whose purpose is to create a platform for young boys and girls to share issues affecting their lives
HIKING FOR GIRLS: MT.RWENZORI
Our annual Hiking event this year took place in July as we led a team of 35 Hikers from different organizations with the purpose of breaking stigma around menstruation in the Rwenzori Region.

RTU has organized awareness raising meetings in Namayumba sub-county, involving community leaders and parents;
