EMPOWERING GIRLS ONE HILL AT A TIME

Every step forward is a mountain moved for a girl’s future. On May 17th, 2026, our team represented by Pillar Mbabazi and Dorah Kamwine proudly joined ABSA Bank Uganda and other partners on the #AbsaKH37HillsRun. This event was a powerful declaration of our commitment to girls’ education where every kilometre served as a reminder of the barriers many girls still face including poverty and menstrual stigma.

Running alongside a dedicated community of advocates reminded us that meaningful change happens when we move together. Pillar and Dorah stood in solidarity with those fighting for their dreams, witnessing the strong energy of people united by one common purpose: ensuring every girl has the opportunity to stay in school and reach her full potential.

We believe that education is the main tool for breaking cycles of inequality, when a girl learns, her entire community thrives. Our participation reaffirmed that investing in girls is an investment in a better future for everyone. We will continue to champion dignity and opportunity so every girl can dream bigger.
