THE HIKE4GIRLS : MY EXPERIENCE!

The day before hike, the organizers told us that we should wake up at 5.30 am in order to be ready for breakfast by 6am but as me Benjamin I woke up at 6.04 am! I refreshed up and I went out to check if tea is ready but it was not ready. So, I went back and waited for mummy to wake up but she woke up at 6.37am then finally we went for tea.

After breakfast we went to the bus and drove to Erewa Primary school where hiking activity was supposed to start from. It was a long journey we arrived at 8.20 am. They told us to get sticks for the hike and we also took pictures it was really hot!

Finally, we set off I was second place and I was EXTREMELY EXCITED! Because I have never ever went on a hike. I kept on asking people when we are gonna reach the base of the mountain. I finally got there and immediately threw my stick away I knew I didn’t need a stick for hiking when we were past halfway, I stopped for a break.

I grabbed my potato crisps for a snack and my soda that was given to us by Pepsi Uganda. Then we took off. When I thought we had reached the top I stopped for the second time and waited for almost everyone to arrive then one of the aunties powered water on me and I finally got relaxed for a while.

Then we started hiking again and I FINALLY REACHED THE TOP! They took pictures of me they posted me all over twitter even a video!

Then we went back to the school where many girls were given sanitary pads. They were very happy. We later went to the falls before having dinner in Arua Town and head back to the Guest house. I really wanted to stay there for another five days but it was no use we went to bed straight. The next day Tr. Hope woke everyone up at the crack of dawn that day I ate lots of food so I thought I might make a pit stop and use the number 2 and I did.

After that we went to MURCHISON NATIONAL PARK. And we took pictures from there and to what I have seen they look good.

But after when we were running Zoe fell down bad thing she did get blood and she cried lots of tears. I said sorry she forgave me and we were good to go. We also made another stop at Total Energies. I went out and used my money for minute maid. I was missing five hundred and I complained that yesterday it was 2,000 and everyone laughed at me I said “It is not funny!. Then I slept for 3hours! Wasn’t that long! We went to Jajja’s house and finally my uncle had come to pick us on the way home I don’t know much because I was sleeping so I guess this is;

THE END!

Pepsi Uganda blessed the Hikers with all thes Drinks.
