STORYTELLING AND DOCUMENTATION TRAINING.

On 12th January 2026, our team had the privilege of participating in a storytelling and documentation training organized by CEDOVIP Uganda under the guidance of Girls First Fund and Community Development Foundation Uganda. The session focused on equipping us with the skills to tell compelling stories that capture the heart of our work. It was a timely reminder that storytelling goes beyond writing reports, it is about giving girls and communities a voice and highlighting the real-life impact of programs on the ground.

During the training, we explored practical techniques for collecting stories in a respectful and ethical manner, ensuring that the voices of those we serve are represented authentically. We also learned how to clearly communicate our work, illustrating both the challenges faced and the positive changes achieved. The session emphasized the importance of presenting stories that resonate, build understanding and foster meaningful connections with audiences.

Armed with these new skills, we are now better positioned to share relatable and powerful stories from the field. These stories not only help people understand our work but also strengthen trust, attract support and inspire action. We are deeply grateful to Girls First Fund and CDFU for investing in our growth and helping us know the power of storytelling as a tool for learning, accountability and driving positive change. Remember, We Rise By Lifting Others…
