A GIFT OF A WATER TANK MAKES LIFE MEANINGFUL FOR A SCHOOL GOING GIRL CHILD

In our program of Keeping Girls in schools, we realized that some schools have no access to clean water. This puts the lives of girls at risk as they move long distances in search for water instead of being in class. Some girls have been raped and defiled as they search for water.

At Raising Teenagers Uganda we decided to start looking out for kind people that could donate water tanks. And Yes we got some.

Imagine life of a girl in her periods without water!

We have in the last one year given out 6 water tanks to six schools. The students in these schools are now safe from abuse that would take place as they looked for water. We imagined life of a girl in her periods without water in the school and truly its impossible life. Its one reason why some girls would decide to abandon school completely.

Now with these water tanks from well wishers, boys and girls are able to attend their classes without worrying about water. We call upon kind people out their to support our work so that we reach out to more rural schools. with only $1500 we can buy a water tank and cater for all its installation expenses. Support us to support more. Together we make a big difference.
