BRAVE MOVEMENT UGANDA COMMITTEE MEETING

When leaders unite with a single heartbeat for the most vulnerable, they do not just plan for the future, they build a sanctuary of safety where hope can finally take root. A United Front for Childhood Safety On 13th May 2026, As Co- Chairs for Brave Movement Uganda, we hosted a Steering Committee meeting marking a significant step in the journey towards protecting the next generation. This gathering brought together dedicated committee members to discuss, plan and shape a strategic roadmap for activities under an upcoming three-month catalytic grant. The meeting served as a vital platform for collective decision-making, embodying the spirit of restoration, collaboration and purpose-driven leadership that is essential for creating a lasting legacy.

Strategic Action through Collective Wisdom Throughout the session, leaders and partners engaged in meaningful conversations focused on strengthening efforts to prevent and respond to childhood sexual violence. By sharing ideas and reviewing priorities, the committee explored practical ways to enhance community engagement and accountability. This collaborative approach reflects a commitment to nurturing people and strengthening leadership ecosystems where meaningful change can truly flourish. The diversity of perspectives allowed the committee to develop a sharper, more focused direction, reinforcing the belief that great transformation begins with intentional action and a shared commitment to serving others.

The energy and passion demonstrated during this meeting serve as a powerful reminder of what is possible when leadership is guided by a genuine desire to serve. As Be brave Uganda moves forward, the focus remains on amplifying advocacy and driving actions that protect every child’s right to safety and dignity. This work is a courageous step toward shaping a better future for generations to come, ensuring that every child can grow, learn and thrive free from fear.
