To open a book is to open a door and for a child, every story read is a step toward a future where they lead with wisdom, heart and courage. A Vibrant Space for Young Minds On 15th May 2026, we had the wonderful privilege of joining Children Reach Out Uganda at their Holiday Reading Camp. The theme, “Readers Are Leaders,” perfectly captured the spirit of the day as children dived into books, shared their Favorite ideas and discovered the pure magic of reading. It was truly heartening to see these young minds asking bold questions and expressing themselves with such confidence. This event reminded us all that reading is not just something children do for school, it is a gateway to a world of opportunity and a lifetime of learning.
Building the Leaders of Tomorrow, we believe that helping children fall in love with reading is one of the best ways to build the purpose-driven leadership needed for the future. Every time a child picks up a book, they are not just learning words, they are expanding their imagination and sharpening the critical thinking skills they will need to navigate the world. By investing in literacy today, we are nurturing young people and strengthening leadership ecosystems from the ground up. Reading gives children the tools to dream bigger and the wisdom, confidence and impact to eventually lead and contribute to their communities.
We want to say a huge thank you to Children Reach Out Uganda for creating such safe and fun spaces where kids can thrive during their holidays. Programs like this Reading Camp do so much more than teach literacy, they provide mentorship and meaningful change through social interaction. By working together to support these young readers, we are taking a courageous step toward shaping a better future for generations to come. We are so proud to be part of this journey that promises growth and transformation as we are changing lives one page, one book and one child at a time.
