In today’s dynamic world, many young people grow up with the belief that leadership is reserved for a few who carry titles like “head prefect” or “class monitor.” Throughout this session, we challenged the pupils and opened their eyes to a new way of understanding leadership.

Every year since 2017, Raising Teenagers Uganda puts boots on the ground and hearts on a mission. It's called #Hike4GirlsUg a movement to ending Menstrual Stigma, creating a period friendly world where girls can menstruate with dignity.

On Saturday, 19th July, the peaceful paths of Tanzania’s Pugu KazimZumbwi Reserve Forest echoed with footsteps of purpose as Dorah Kamwine, our champion, joined forces with partners and supporters in a symbolic hike for the girl child.
